Dr. Benjamin Reasoner provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients with a wide range of neurological disorders, including headaches, epilepsy, neuropathy, movement disorders, stroke, cognitive disorders, and neuromuscular conditions. He is committed to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based neurological care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Dr. Reasoner earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine after completing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Iowa State University. He completed his Adult Neurology Residency at the University of Iowa, where he cared for patients across the full spectrum of neurological disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
As a neurologist, Dr. Reasoner values building lasting relationships with patients and their families. He believes that clear communication, careful listening, and patient education are essential to helping individuals understand their diagnosis and make informed decisions about their care. His goal is to provide compassionate, personalized treatment while working together with patients to improve quality of life.
Originally from Iowa, Dr. Reasoner is proud to continue serving patients throughout Southeast Iowa. Outside of medicine, he enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, playing the piano, and spending time with his cats.
